Are you ready to showcase the City of Angels on the big screen? NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) invites you to create a short film for the 2019 On Location: Los Angeles Video Project!
The film competition accepts original narrative, documentary, commercial, or animated projects that positively highlight Los Angeles to the rest of the world. Make a short film that will answer the question “What is your LA?” It’s a great opportunity for filmmakers to showcase their skills, and finalists will be rewarded with over a million views, a red carpet premiere screening event in Hollywood, a celebrity judging panel, after-party, and over $60,000 in prizes (including cash!). Deadline to enter is August 23, 2019.
Learn how to enter your film at nfmla.org/onlocation.
NFMLA’s partners for this year’s On Location program include LA City Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, LA City Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell, Sunset Studios, Cinelease, KTLA, The Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council, SAG-AFTRA, FilmLA, Hollywood Foreign Press Association, The California Film Commission, Alternative Camera Rentals, and HBO.
