SAGIndie is proud to support AFI Fest 2013 and acclaimed British artist and filmmaker STEVE McQUEEN in conversation about directing his latest film, 12 YEARS A SLAVE. In 2008, McQueen’s critically acclaimed first feature, Hunger, won the Camera d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. He followed with 2011’s provocative Shame. 12 Years a Slave is based on the incredible true story of Solomon Northup (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a free black man abducted into slavery.

Sunday, November 10, 7:00 P.M., TCL Chinese Theatre
